2020 Toyota Tacoma Technology is Something to Behold

Just because it’s a truck doesn’t mean it can’t come with a state-of-the-art cabin, and the 2020 Toyota Tacoma technology is proof. From its sonar-based parking sensor to its advanced infotainment system, there’s no shortage of modern toys in the midsize pickup.

It all starts with the seven- or eight-inch touch-screen, which comes with standard Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ smartphone compatibility, an Amazon Alexa personal assistant, Bluetooth® wireless music streaming and hands-free calling, voice recognition technology, SiriusXM® satellite radio, Wi-Fi Connect, Safety Connect®, and six high-quality speakers.

Thanks to CarPlay® and Android Auto™, you can plug in your compatible smartphone and use it just as you normally would, all via the touch-screen interface of your 2020 Toyota Tacoma. It’s convenient and, more importantly, safer. And thanks to the two USB charge ports in the console, it’s easy to keep your smartphone charged while on the go even as you continually use its capabilities.

When you drive a truck, it pays off more than usual to know exactly what’s around you. 2020 Toyota Tacoma technology includes a panoramic view monitor that uses cameras all around the Tacoma to give you a 360-degree view of everything around you, making it much easier to park or navigate your way past off-road obstacles. Even better, there’s a sonar-powered integrated backup camera that lets you see everything behind your tailgate in high-resolution detail.

And we’re just getting started on 2020 Toyota Tacoma technology. Learn more about this incredible truck at Capital Toyota!

These Are the 2019 Toyota Tacoma Performance Stats

Study up on the 2019 Toyota Tacoma performance stats

The Toyota Tundra is Toyota’s full-size pickup truck, which offers massive amounts of power and towing capability. But some truck drivers don’t need that much power and would rather have a nice blend of efficiency and solid towing capability: That’s where the 2019 Toyota Tacoma comes in.

Think the Tacoma might be right for you? Here are the 2019 Toyota Tacoma performance stats you can expect:

  • The 2.7-liter four-cylinder engine with VVT-I is matched to a six-speed electronically controlled automatic transmission with intelligence (ECT-i), generating 159 horsepower and 180 lb-ft of torque. With this engine, the Tacoma achieves up to 20 miles per gallon in the city and 23 on the highway.*
  • Offering more power and surprisingly improved fuel economy is the 3.5-liter V6 with VVT-iW and VVT-I exhaust, which is matched to that same gearbox. This engine cranks out 278 horsepower and 265 lb-ft of torque and enables the Tacoma to tow up to 6,800 lbs when properly equipped. This engine yields up to 19 miles per gallon in the city and 24 on the highway.

You can test drive the new 2019 Toyota Tacoma with either engine option in six trim levels (SR, SR5, TRD Sport, TRD Off-Road, Limited, and TRD Pro) at Capital Toyota.
